WW2 US Navy Silver Star Recipient Uniform Grouping ID’d

ID’d to Sumner A Pendleton, award the Silver Star medal for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action while serving as a member of the Staff of Flag Officer commanding Task Groups and Task Units in combat against enemy Japanese forces in the Central and South Pacific during WW2.  Not named in the jacket or pants, ID’d in the visor cap and hat covers. Jacket has some moth nips to the back, overall in solid shape.
