WW2 US Marine Corps 1st Samoan Battalion Overseas Cap Rare

Shows some soiling/wear to the cap, has an area of damage to the front of the cap near the sweatband. Cap patch shows some thread loss and a few moth nips. No markings inside that I can see. Extremely tough piece of Marine Corps headgear to find.
