WW2 US Marine Corp Disston Entrenching Machete Scarce

This is a scarce entrenching machete produced by Disston, these were made for a short time due to the defect of the handles. They cracked easy, which most of these that were issued show. The sheath is missing the pin on the front to hold the metal ring down. Leather has some dry spots and minor damage. This is a really tough edged weapon to find, these do not come up for sale that often
