WW2 US M1 Helmet Fixed Bail Complete Shrapnel/Bullet Damage to Front

Good condition a really nice honest worn fixed bail, the liner is a CAPAC complete with the leather chinstrap. The chinstrap has some wear to the corns where it goes over the rim of the shell but is not torn. The front of the shell has a repair not sure if it’s from a bullet or a piece of shrapnel. Complete fixed bail helmets are not easy to come by anymore
