WW2 German M1916 Helmet Shell Reissued Captured France 15th Cavalry Recon Squadron

Has some battle damage to one side, stress crack on the top of the same side. The 3 painted section on the front and 2 sides is most likely postwar possibly kids. Captured by Bill Nunn (Wagner) 15th Cav Recon Sqd Brest France 1944. Missing the liner and pins, ET64
