WW2 US 8th Army Air Force 351st Bomb Group 509th Bomb Squadron Dog Tag 32 Missions

Merle O Hitchin completed 32 missions. Received the Distinguished Flying Cross and 3 Air Medals. Hitchin also took part in the D-Day bombings of the gun emplacements at Caen France.
